Initiates Vision
Oil and acrylic on Wood
14X 35
Inspired by art I saw being created in the Baltic region. Repurposed surfaces converted into paintings with minimal use of colors and shapes. Of course however It ended up becoming one of the many portable surfaces I would use for painting and scribbling source thoughts onto. ‘An Initiates Vision’ was one of those scribbled thoughts– it just resonated with me and thus this blue match pocket book looking painting is birthed.

A collectively created live painting starting at Flash on Mothers Day this past year. “Being taken by storm is the most direct path from here to there.” and by storm I had been taken. Navigating the harsh social climates of this planet's most powerful city, Washington D.C.. I found myself neither here nor there, forgetting what was once known and no longer feeling apart. The identity of the “I” in question. I found myself surrendering to the life force through this painting. Giving it whatever light I had left. Feeling the pains of the loss of physical bonds who’s souls have left this planet and the loss of the comforts of tribes the “I” no longer “I”dentifies with. The “I” merges with the unseen celestial energies; transmuting and recreating. Between worlds – gathering and collecting stories, channeling source energies and bringing forth images from celestial realms. Capturing the “Aww” and wonder of the creators and the created as they awaken to the new known. Created in your image of nations.
Venusian Memories
Story
I found this beautiful piece of wood in the free pile of my building this past summer. I knew instantly that I would use it to capture the essence of a rather larger than life character who entered my life during that time and to illustrate our souls story.
Summer of 2021. Tall, handsome, and rambunctious-- a beastly man with a heart of gold. Our time spent together would encompass feelings and experiences I had yet to know on my time here on this planet. I would come to know lucidity on another level. Traveling through time and space and defying fundamental beliefs about reality via actual experience . Despite similar outward back drops and environments there was something rather mystical and familiar about our connection– tabu even for two wild-hearted rebels like us; the untouchables. Cinematic moments. Shining with the sun and playing with darkness in the light of the day. The secret kissing of the sun and the moon– 72 hours of glorious mystical debauchery mimicking multiple dreams I had had in the months prior. What a strange mystical karmic connection. Somewhere in between now and then.
I painted this painting to remember.
Intuitive strokes capturing joy and excitement.
Royal Proposal
This is one of two printed paintings I painted over-- they were originally of two African Empresses. The story behind the painting The proposal starts here. I was gifted these paintings on a random serendipitous night out in DC this past Fall. The previous owner told me to do with it what I'd like" and so the story goes. I found myself howling at the moon and dancing into the light of day amongst a soul tribe I like to call “The Celtrial Royals” -- regal in their demeanors, with twinkles in their eyes that evoke familiarity and remembrance.
The Proposal is an intuitive painting capturing the essence of life on Venus amongst the Celtrial Royals. I allowed myself to be more intimate with this painting than I had ever been prior. I took an unorthodox approach even for myself– using my bare hands, my left hand for parts of it and I played with brighter colors I normally don't bother to explore. I painted The Proposal alongside A Night Out On Venus. I really enjoyed exploring the emotions and feelings that surfaced while painting this piece. I chose the name of “The Royal Proposal” because if you look to the upper right hand corner there is a teal figure whose likeness is that of the time traveling, celestial royal, Isis– perfectly placed with her stared wings and flapping above another teal figure. The other teal figure located closer to the bottom, left corner of the painting resembles an astronaut on one knee proposing to an elusive hidden purple figure. Evoking familiar dreamscapes and narratives I find myself exploring on the astral plane.
